Purpose

Validates distribution function string.

Synopsis

string = ck_function(string)

Description

Translates various function string names into internal keyword. Abbreviations can be used with distribution function. For instance, the following example will produce the density distribution at x:

>> n = normdf('d',x);

Inputs

• 'cumulative' 'c' 'cdf'

• 'density' 'd' 'pdf'

• 'quantile' 'q' 'inv' 'inverse'

• 'random' 'r'
