Issue:

If we purchase a floating license does the floating license need to be added to the Matlab floating license, or can it be served by a separate license server?

Possible Solutions:

The floating license does not need to be added to the Matlab floating license. It is served by our Eigenvector license server program which we supply to you.

The Eigenvector floating site license allows multiple users to share a license. When you purchase a floating site license you download the Solo or PLS_Toolbox installer and a small Eigenvector license server application (license server ZIP file).

**Downloading the Eigenvector license server and setting up the server is described in steps 1 and 2 of the Quick Start Guide**

The Eigenvector license server manages licenses for your Solo or PLS_Toolbox users. It is completely separate and independent of the Matlab floating license server so you do not need to touch the Matlab license server, if you have one.
