NEW FEATURES

• Analysis GUI has undergone a major renovation allowing for much more flexible data management, plot and data "linking" (connections between data and model results like selections and exclusions in scores and loadings), and data manipulation.
• Analysis GUI now allows simultaneous loading of Calibration and Validation data and has a revised interface to make loading and working with data and models easier and more intuitive
• Improved interactivity for multi-way data in Analysis GUI
• Several preprocessing methods and options have been added including EPO, GLSW, windowed normalization, and baselining options.
• Additional importing methods including a greatly improved automatic text importer and support for several Hamilton Sundstrand file formats

KNOWN ISSUES

Beta 5985 Released 9/16/08

• Trendtool - Has some operational issues. Initial placement of markers works, but subsequent changes do not. [*]
• Analysis - does not clear invalid n-way preprocessing in some situations [*]
• Selection and exclusion of samples when viewing test data ONLY causes exclusion of all calibration samples [*]

Work-around: do not do exclusion of samples when viewing only test data. Turn on View Cal w/Test checkbox (on Plot Controls) before doing any exclusions.

• Data Set Editor does not "reset" the include field properly when all items are excluded (Clear/Reset option of Edit and context menu)
• PLOTGUI gives error when performing ColorBy with values that span a wide range (>1e5, for example)
• TESTROBUSTNESS - does not always handle include on y-block correctly [*]
• NORMALIZE Preprocessing - selected window not handled correctly with excluded variables [*]
• IPLS GUI - better handle additional selections with "reverse" mode [*]

• Analysis/PARAFAC - Options cannot be set in Analysis, some problems occur when applying models to new data and when using model viewer with preprocessing
• Missing Data check (used in most Analysis methods) may have problems with DSOs
• Baseline (Specified Points) - settings does not choose points and incorrectly draws on main Analysis window
• Normalize - settings outputs "win" variable

• EVRIINSTALL immediately says code is invalid if old version code still present in memory
• Some old DSOs may have a corrupted classlookup table which causes dataset editor to fail
