NEW FEATURES
- Analysis GUI now allows simultaneous loading of Calibration and Validation data and has a revised interface to make loading and working with data and models easier and more intuitive
- Improved interactivity for multi-way data in Analysis GUI
- Several preprocessing methods and options have been added including EPO, windowed normalization, baselining, and GLSW options.
- Additional importing methods including a greatly improved automatic text importer and support for several Hamilton Sundstrand file formats
- Improved editing, sorting, and visualization tools for DataSets
- Model robustness tests in Analysis GUI and at the command line
- Export model to "model building function" which can be used to reproduce a given model
- New clustering method "dbscan" (command-line only)

KNOWN ISSUES
Beta 5985 Released 9/16/08
- Trendtool - Has some operational issues. Initial placement of markers works, but subsequent changes do not.
- Analysis - does not clear invalid n-way preprocessing in some situations
- PLOTGUI gives error when performing ColorBy with values that span a wide range (>1e5, for example)
Beta Released 9/11/08
[all items fixed 9/16/08]
- Analysis/PARAFAC - Options cannot be set in Analysis, some problems occur when applying models to new data and when using model viewer with preprocessing
- Missing Data check (used in most Analysis methods) may have problems with DSOs
- Baseline (Specified Points) - settings does not choose points and incorrectly draws on main Analysis window [*]
- Normalize - settings outputs "win" variable
Beta Released 9/10/08
[all items fixed 9/11/08]
- Code only works on 2008a and later
- EVRIINSTALL immediately says code is invalid if old version code still present in memory
- Some old DSOs may have a corrupted classlookup table which causes dataset editor to fail
- New PARAFAC engine not included in beta
- DSO Version not updated
Beta Release 8/30/08
[all items fixed for 9/10/08]
- Analysis displays 'update' commands in command window
- Import dialog small
